Unlock new titles in Tales of Arise
To unlock new titles, simply go to the Skills tab on the menu or press right on the D-pad outside the battle to see which you currently have. In this section of the menu, some titles will appear empty instead of showing the benefits or arts available for purchase.
When passing the cursor over these blank titles, you will know exactly how to unlock them. For example, an empty title location for Rinwell would say baking ice cream . Go to a hostel or camp and cook ice cream with Rinwell to unlock this specific title.
Some titles will be unlocked automatically as it progresses in history.
The game will notify you every time you complete an action that has unlocked a new title. This will take you directly to the title menu immediately.
Acquire new skills
Each title that you win in Tales of Arise will automatically grant you a skill that provides a new art or passive benefit. Then, you can buy four more skills of the same title using the skill points (SP) obtained in battle or completing missions.
You can also get new skills by completing certain sub-missions or just progressing in history. The new arts obtained in this way will not appear under any title, but they will be added directly to your list on the Menu Arts tab.
