Another year has passed, and the numbers are there. We saw a lot of new and interesting titles over the last year, and here are some of the most successful, at least in terms of earnings. These are separated into two categories, one for free games and one for paid games.

As we can see from the list, Fortnite always keeps the lead with 1.8 billion dollars, which is not surprising, given its overall popularity. In second place, we got Dungeon Fighter Online with $1.6 billion, which is an impressive figure, especially since the game was originally posted for over 14 years. Honor of Kings is right behind with $1.6 billion, proving that the genre MOB is still immensely popular. Speaking of MOB, League of Legends is in 4th place with 1.5 billion, followed closely by Candy Crash Saga to 5th.

As for the pay-to-play (aka premium titles) here is the list containing Top 10 revenue P2P games:

As we can see, FIFA 19 firmly retains the top spot with 786 million won. In 2nd place we have Call of Duty: Modern Warfare with $645 million, which is an impressive figure given that the game was released just before the end of October. GTA5 is in 3rd place with 595 million, proving that the masterpiece that Rock star is still extremely popular, although it has more than 6 years. In 4th place, we FIFA 20 with 504 million won, and Call of Duty: Black Ops 4 retains 5th place with 487 million.

As we can see in the list, it is clear that the free games dominate the charts and are definitely more popular with the public players. It remains to see what 2020 will bring, but judging by the numbers, it is safe to assume that free games will continue to grow and expand even more than before.
